Vasnetsov Seraphim Skateboard Wall Art – Diptych
Victor Vasnetsov painted the Seraphim in 1885–1896 as part of the interior decoration of Saint Vladimir's Cathedral in Kyiv. The seraphim — the highest order of angels in the celestial hierarchy — are shown with six wings each, as described in the sixth chapter of Isaiah. Vasnetsov worked on the cathedral frescoes for eleven years, developing a distinctly Russian religious painting style that influenced the Orthodox Church's visual identity into the 20th century.
